Pituitary gland. endocrine Gland consisting of anterior, middle and posterior lobes.

In the anterior lobe (HVL), the hypothalamus and others adrenocorticotropic hormone are used under neuronal and hormonal control. (ACTH, corticotropin), follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, melanocyte stimulating hormone, growth hormone, thyroid stimulating hormone and lactotropic hormone.

Im Hinterlappen(HHL) erfolgt die Freisetzung von Oxytozin und Adiuretin (Vasopressin), welche im Hypothalamus gebildet und über Nervenfasern in den Hinterlappen transportiert werden.
