Muscle

Muscles with Myosin are the motors in the human organism. With your help you can move around willingly (striated muscles), the heart regularly pumps the blood through our body (striated myocardium) and many unconscious movements in our body like the peristalsis of the intestinal organs are maintained by muscles (smooth muscles).

Es gibt also drei verschiedene Muskelarten, die auch unterschiedlich aufgebaut sind. So haben

• die glatte Muskulatur und das Myokard nur jeweils einen Zellkern, während die quergestreifte Skelettmuskulatur viele Zellkerne hat.
• die glatte Muskulatur und das Myokard nur ein mäßig entwickeltes sarkoplasmatisches Retikulum, während dieses im Skelettmuskel sehr ausgeprägt ist.
• die glatte Muskulatur und das Myokard keine motorische Endplatte, während die Skelettmuskulatur damit innerviert wird.
