Nifedipine Side Effects

In general, the side effects of dihydropyridines are caused by peripheral vasodilatation or activation of the sympathetic nervous system. Especially in younger patients, these side effects often lead to discontinuation of therapy. In the nifedipine group, reflex tachycardia occurs.
