Spherocyte

Spherical cell; erythrocyte of small spherical or microspherocytic shape (∅ 6 μm, thickness up to 4 μm) and without the central indentation typical for red blood cells; has a smaller surface area and an increased mean haemoglobin concentration with almost normal individual volume and haemoglobin content.
