Stentgraft System

By a stent graft system we mean a graft lining the vessel lumen that is used in large arterys (especially aorta) whose wall is damaged due to pre-existing conditions.

The folded stent graft system is introduced via a superficial artery (usually in the hip bend) and brought to the injured vascular structures. There it is deployed under X-ray control and protects the injured vascular structures from rupture or further expansion.
