Cell Division Cycle

A normal cell goes through different phases during its life. It is either in the so-called G0 or resting phase or in the four-part cell division cycle (G1, S, G2, M) or in the dying phase, apoptosis, which usually corresponds to planned cell death. But also a not preprogrammed cell death or necrosis is possible; it is caused by external influences.
