Pulmonary Valve Stenosis

Narrowing of the opened pulmonary valve, which impairs the right ventricle during ejection of the pump fraction. Can lead to a thickening of the myocardium of the right heart (right heart hypertrophy) due to the increased pumping effort.

Severe stenoses can also lead to right heart failure.
