Antibodies
Specific Proteins (immunoglobulins), which are formed by cells of the immune system after contact with foreign (possibly also endogenous) substances of various kinds (antigens), which induce their ineffectiveness in different ways and thus cancel out their damaging effect. Antibodies serve the immune system.
