ACE Inhibitors

inhibit the conversion of angiotensin I to the vasoconstrictor angiotensin II by inhibiting the angiotensin conversion enzyme (ACE), thereby lowering blood pressure.

ACE inhibitors are used to treat hypertension and heart failure.
