Influenza

Influenza, also known as "real" flu, is an infectious disease in humans, other mammals and birds caused by viruses from the genera Influenza virus A or B. Influenza viruses belong to the group of orthomyxoviridae. The term influenza is commonly used for flu-like infections, which are, however, various viral diseases that are usually much more harmless.
