Medium corpuscular volume (MCV):

This refers to the volume of a single erythrocyte. The normal value is 82 - 92 x 10^-15 liters (femtoliter).

Blood diseases with elevated MCV are referred to as macrocytice, those with decreased MCV as microcytice anemia.
