Acne

Acne vulgaris, an inflammatory disease of the hair follicle and sebaceous gland, but in extreme cases also of the entire affected skin. Usually caused by hormonal changes, especially in adolescents during puberty.

Acne is the most common skin disease worldwide. 70 to 87 percent of all adolescents suffer from acne skin changes, 10 to 30 percent of them are treated with medication.
