Efferences

Efferent means leading away, to the identification of the direction of bloodsupply or nerveenergization, the contrast is afferent. This refers to the vessels or nerves leading away from an organ.

For example, this refers to the totality of all nerve fibres pulling from the CNS to the inner organs or muscles, which have information (commands) for the function of the target organs. The opposite are the Afferences
