Endothelium

Endothelium is the innermost layer of lymph and blood vessels. It acts as a barrier to the fluids in the vessel, produces certain vasoactive substances that can affect vessel size, and can alter the flowability of blood by Inhibition and Activation of Coagulation Processes.
