Coronary Arteries

The coronary vessels, Latin: Arteriae coronariae, are those that supply the heart muscle with blood blood vessels. They circle the heart like a crown, hence the name "coronary".

Sie werden in der Systole des Herzens gefüllt. Sie sind Endarterien. Bei einer Verlegung dieser Gefäße kommt es zum Herzinfarkt.
