The coronary vessels, in Latin: arteriae coronariae, are those blood vessels that supply the heart muscle with blood. They circle the heart like a crown, hence the name "coronary".

They're filled in the systole of the heart. They are endarteria. When these vessels are obstructed, the heart attack occurs.
