In biology, cells are the smallest unit of all living organisms. While the smallest living beings consist of a single cell, there are still multicellular organisms and multicellular organisms such as humans.

Zellen ohne Zellkern werden Prokaryoten, Zellen mit einem Zellkern werden Eukaryoten genannt.
