MCH

Medium corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH):

The mean haemoglobin content of a single erythrocyte is approximately 30 pg (one picogram is one billionth of a gram (1/1,000,000,000,000,000 grams).

Blutkrankheiten mit erniedrigtem MCH bezeichnen wir als hypochrome (z.B. bei Eisenmangel), solche mit erhöhtem MCH als hyperchrome Anämie (z.B. bei Vitamin B12- und Folsäuremangel)
