ACE Inhibitors and Sympathetic Nervous System

Due to the damping of the sympathetic nervous system, the administration of ACE inhibitors does not lead to any reflective frequency increase. In this way the ACE inhibitors differ pharmacologically and therapeutically from the vasodilators. These often lead to reflex tachycardia and stimulate the RAA system.
