Angina Pectoris - Nifedipine at

The substances of the nifedipine group are mainly indicated for vasospastic angina. In stable angina pectoris under nifedipine, however, an increase in pectanginal complaints due to neuroendocrine stimulation may be expected. Verapamil and Diltiazem are just as effective, but with the corresponding indication they can be assessed as more manageable and prognostically positive.
