Anomalies of the Uterus

Some women have a congenital malformed uterus in which shape or size are altered. Even though fertilisation of the egg cell is often possible in these cases, the egg cell cannot implant itself in the uterus and grow there. A too low progesterone level can also be a reason why the uterus does not build up sufficiently and interferes with nidation. Hormone tablets can often solve this problem.
