Abdominal Aorta
Aorta abdominalis. Aortic segment in the abdominal cavity located outside the peritoneum (retroperitoneal).
It begins after the Hiatus aorticus (in the diaphragm) and divides into the two Arteriae iliacae communes in the pelvis after the release of inflows to stomach, liver, small intestine and large intestine.
