Determination of the degree of tumor differentiation, i.e. the extent of the change in tissue compared to normal tissue:G0 = no evidence of anaplasia,G1 = tumor is well differentiated,G2 = tumor is moderately differentiated,G3 = tumor is poorly differentiated,G4 = tumor is undifferentiated (anaplastic),Gx = degree of differentiation not determinable.
