Gall Bladder Cancer

Gallbladder cancer is a very malignant tumour that originates from the mucous membrane of the gallbladder. Carcinomas of the bile duct system (gall bladder and bile ducts) are rather rare and account for only about 1% of all cancers. Gallbladder cancer usually manifests after the age of 60. Women are affected more often than men.
