Leukocytes

Various forms of white blood cells that are predominantly important for immune function. They contain seeds. Classification into granulocytes, lymphocytes and monocytes. The leukocytes are able to emigrate from the vascular system into the tissue. Neutrophilic granulocytes and monocytes assume phagocytic functions (phagocytes). Lymphocytes have a major function in the immune defence.
