Lipoprotein Lipase and Beta-Blockers

Also called clarifying factor. Cleaves the triglycerides in the blood of hyperlipidemia (after administration of heparin). This is probably the cause of the increase in TG levels and the decrease in HDL levels during beta-blocker therapy.
