Tonsillitis

Acute tonsillitis is an inflammation of the palatine tonsils, mainly caused by certain bacteria (Streptococcus) is caused. One speaks also of Angina tonsillaris or usually simply of tonsillitis. The most common transmission of this disease is droplet infection, which occurs more frequently in the winter months and spring than in other seasons.
