Otitis Externa

The outer ear likes to be inflamed by bacteria or fungi. Through weakened defence and inadequate treatment, the infection can spread to the bone surrounding the auditory canal and cause its suppuration. It can hurt in the outer ear, when pulling on the earlobe and when pressing on the tragus (mobile cartilage mass in front of the ear entrance).
