Protozoa

A unicellular organism with a clearly defined nucleus. Reproduction asexually by two- and multiple-division and budding, or however sexually. Food intake through permeation and pinocytosis or phagocytosis. Most protozoa can form cysts as a permanent form under unfavourable external conditions in addition to the vegetative, usually mobile, state form.
