Pyramidal System

In contrast to the extrapyramidal motor system, the pyramidal system is primarily used to convey the fine motor skills and arbitrary motor skills of humans. In animals it is less well trained. In the case of a failure, there is a lack of fine motor skills and basic clumsiness as well as other muscle groups are not moved along as would be the case physiologically.
