Quick Test

the determination of the prothrombin thromboplastin time, i.e. the activity of factors II, V, VII and X in citrate plasma after the addition of tissue thrombinase and CaCl2; synonym: prothrombin time; the coagulation time determined by Quick-TestTest as the mean value from double determinations. The reference value found in the plasma of healthy individuals (11 to 16 seconds) is set as 100% in order to derive the 80, 60, 40, 20 and 10% values or the corresponding times from it in a standard dilution series; values < 70% are considered pathological.
