Connective Tissue
Tissue form consisting of very differently differentiated cells (mesenchymal cells, fat cells, mast cells, plasma cells, reticulum cells and pigment cells, as well as fibrocytes and histiocytes). It has a differently shaped intercellular substance in which elastic and collagen fibres are incorporated. The connective tissue is essentially involved in shaping, strengthening and connecting the organ and other body structures.
