Exocrine Pancreas

Exocrine is the excretion mode of glands or glandular cells that secrete their secretions to external (skin) or internal surfaces (intestinal lumen, urogenital tract). This is where the pancreatic juices are released into the intestinal lumen. Endocrine secretion as the opposite function takes place in the bloodstream.
