Antibodies

Immunoglobulins, Ig, humoral antibodies. Specific proteins with a molecular weight of approximately 250,000 formed by plasma cells, in particular T lymphocytes after induction by antigens, which bind and render ineffective the antigens, most of which are foreign to the body.
