In rescue systems, diseases are usually coded for data protection reasons. The coding is international and partly regionally different and is also handled differently strictly. The suspicious diagnosis is made by the "dispatcher" in the rescue control centre after specific questioning at the emergency call entrance. In the rescue service area Munich 49 pictures are catalogued, e.g:

Cardia 1: Suspected heart attack, Cardia 2: Pacemaker patient, Cardia 3: Pulmonary edema, Cardia 4: Unconscious patient, Apo: Apoplexy, Anna 2: Scald .....

In Austria, these reporting images are referred to as diagnostic codes. In Salzburg, for example, under diagnosis code "100", internal emergencies such as: 101 heart alarm, 102 heart attack, 111 shortness of breath ... is listed. Others would be, for example. 401 ski accident, 803 power accident ....
