Osteomalacia: is a generalized bone metabolic disease characterized by reduced mineralization that leads to an accumulation of unmineralized matrix or osteoid in the skeleton due to permanent bone remodeling. This unmineralized osteoid is mechanically less resistant than adequately mineralized bone. Osteonecrosis: describes an infarct of the bone or a bone segment with subsequent necrosis of the affected bone or bone segment.Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis shows a progressive clinical picture characterized by a reduction in bone mass and structure and subsequently by instability of the skeleton, fractures, false statics and pain.Osteosclerosis: Osteosclerosis is a sclerosis (hardening) of bone tissue. This occurs as local or generalized excessive growth (hypertrophy) of bone tissue, reducing its resilience.
